It's the age of media promotion, folks. Using whatever technology offers us to share some of our activities with readers! One of the most popular tools right now is the "Video teaser" - a short ad that offers a glimpse into a book, an event or just introduces you - the viewer - to something new! They're all over the place (whether we want them to be or not!) and, like my peers, I've become addicted as well. So rather than scatter these things all over my website, I've gathered them in one place for your convenience. Links are included if you want to know more - which I hope you do! Grab your popcorn, sit back, turn off that cellphone - and enjoy the show! |

To your left you'll see the video screen, and a popup list of the videos currently available. This list will grow as I learn more about how to create better looking and more professional clips. Plus I'll add a couple from talented folks who produce works of art and make mine look pretty chintzy. But even Spielberg had to start somewhere, right? I've just finished up a fun video for "Coming Attractions", my latest release with Scott Carpenter. He and I are...well, let's just say "somewhat twisted"... when it comes to how best to portray our novels together. So this one is fun, sexy, and deviously subtle. Take a look and see if you can figure out where we skated reeeeeally close to some thin ice. There were a few words we couldn't say if we wanted to get it up on YouTube. Not many, but of course we needed them. So we had to find another way of "saying" it! LOL "Buckler's Hard" is playing - my next Regency novel which is scheduled to release in July of 2008. "Perfect Whore" has been treated to some upgrading (although I think it would still get banned on MySpace), and there's a very nice one I'm proud of in praise of the Romantic Times Faery Ball. I absolutely have to include Ciana Stone's magnificent tributed to the Hussies - I aspire to a tenth of this incredible lady's talents. Also you'll find "Wicked Wings", the original book teaser created by the talented Ed English and Circle of Seven Productions. Which sort of kick started my interest in videos as promotional tools. Stop back in a month or so - if I haven't driven myself insane with these things, maybe I'll have a few more ready for viewing. In the meantime, enjoy the show!
